When the going gets tough!!!

Initiating a new mission which differs 180 from a normal typical person is hard. Though, the hardest part is upholding your mission until it is successful.

Many times, people in life take much courage to do something new. Yet, they don't have enough guts or will-power to continue. And that's one sad part about everybody's life. No one...absolutely no one has ever not run away because they're tired, fatigued, or couldn't stand it any longer.

Keeping in shape and having a six-pack is one of my greatest dreams, yet still, after 10 months, a loss of 10 kg and 4 visible top-packs and 2 other hidden between a layer of FAT rings. With the basketball court seldomly accessible lately, more partying among friends, & laziness of course....The sins of the world are trying to drag me out of my scheduled routine.

To tell the truth...I've been lagging and lazy for last half month. It's time to get back on track and continue trying.

After promising to Xanta Klaus, I'll bring a six-pack by X-mas. Merely 54 more days, I gotta go hard, and no matter what the temptations, I have to blow them away.

So if folks out there got any suggestions or would like to give some advice, I'll be happy to hear...as 2006 will be the year I'll rock!!!

Fatness is just a sidestep...Getting fitter is the main aim!!!

If you folks haven't realized, I've been reducing fat and losing weight for a whole 9 months since December 2004. The overall weight has fallen by actually 13 kg down to around 64 kg now. If you're fat, slimming down makes you look better, but just to some point.

When you start getting lean but not mean, you're be just a skinny bone. Accompanying fat-burning with sports & weight-lifting is just one of the best components. You're both lose fat & yet gain more muscles.

Then it comes a point where when you're not cheating on your diet & thus exercise, but your weight does not decrease..it's to a point where..muscles grow instead of fat..Since muscles are way heavier than fat, you can feel a grudge when how hard you try, you couldn't break that weight barrier you've been dying to pass.

Relax folks..it comes a time where fat is at a minimal, but you can't get rid of fat entirely cause without it, you're probably die or be sick like those mulnutrition dudes seen in your regular news.

So it's now the end of the fat-burning story after 9 months of weight-losing menu. Jester Joke will be starting a new program. "The fitter lean, mean, fat-burning machine"

Programs include..daily calories consumption control...sugar intake control...exercise which includes running for cardio..weight-lifting for muscle building..If any of you are interested in joining the program..give me a notice..I'll be glad to have more folks concerned about health reasons.

Until recently, got one competitor, our Ironic Chef "Hotshot Bobby". We're under a competition where on X-mas day..who ever can get self fitter by then will be the winner. Join us in the fund folks!!!

Waging war on the rebellious fatness!!!

AVIA basketballers -- Luigi's 5th tournament champions

After the NO COKE campaign, as X-tercy has said, "I live to eat...especially with pals" and Rutchar being the devil of the period, the war on fatness still lingers. And as seen in all past histories of rebellions, if you don't completely exterminate them, they will come back to haunt you.

This time, the weight has plunged up over 65 kg., with layers of fat trying to cover all the elegant muscular abdominals that are almost up to perfection. Fat has once again covered the lower tummy...and starting to press up on the top half of the abdominals.

The fatness has regained possession of my body and is slowly retaining portions of my body back. It has to be STOPPED!!!! Back to weight training...and kinda calories control..

Truly, it feels bad to take a step backward...maybe thanks to the late mishaps on latest work performance...coupled with more eating outside...But believe me...I flunked the promise I gave myself last 6 months...being a lean, mean, fat-burning machine..

From now on...truly...I promise I'll regain the portions of my body that fatness has obtained since last few months...

Successfully no COKE for 40 days

After stop kicking dirt and back to getting some decent job, a extraordinary meal to cheer you up will possibly come once in a while. That's if your life is all about working and enjoying life with only yourself or one group of friends.

Now the big part of this fuss is, some days, you cheer yourself up with a nice meal. Another day your family wants to celebrate some stuff. The next night, maybe enjoying food with friends. The cycle of enjoy dining never stops.

You'll never say "NO" to food, unless your pocket got holes or kinda run dry.

That's when I have to cut off some part of my normal happy meals to prevent gaining extra rings around my stomach.

From research, a coke 280 mL of coke bottle contains about 7-8 teaspoons of sugar. And that's a lot..regardless, due to its fine taste, its hard to resist them.

It all began 40 days ago, and believe me....this 40 days are worse than hell!!!...having drinking COKE for almost everyday..Imagine you ordering pizzas. They usually come with Pepsi in the their set..Watching my brothers drinking Pepsi & eating pizzas and one of the worst temptations man.

I also sweared I dreamt that I had COKE for at least 3 mornings. And in my dream, I felt shocked that I had broked my promise to myself..just to find out it was just a dream.

Cutting somethings important to you may be difficult, but life stills go on. Nowadays, I can live life without Coke for a few days...Damn...I sound like a high coke-addict who has just been through meditation. Least of all, at least after having feasted for numerous nights, my weight was controllable in a sense..64 kg..

Way to go for six pack....Wish me luck pals!!!

PS Bro tally 20 kgs in past 5 months!!!

PS Brothers after Luigi's 3rd Streetbasketball Challenge

After starting the whole weight losing expedition...which really started after the PS Bro had seen the "Supersize Me" DVD at our PS Room, each of the brothers set out to beat their own target.

Let's see how the PS Bro tallies 20 kg (from left to right) :

Sage Alias -- 73 kg to 65 kg = 8 kg
Johnny Boy -- 62 kg to 62 kg = 0 kg
Jester Joke -- 77 kg to 63 kg = 14 kg
Total Kg = 8 + 0 + 14 = 22 kg

We challenge you to beat our record!! Slimming down isn't a crime, but it can make people around you envious. The key factor to conquering obese is to keep focus and keep aiming to reach your goal.

I guess Jester Joke's quest against obesity is conquered. His next quest is a six-pack lean, mean, fat-burning machine. Stay tune on his next episodes (coming out once each month) to see if he really can do it....until them...sending in encouragements will surely help him..

Triumphant conquering the 65 barrier!!!!

Participants in Luigi's IIth streetbasketball challenge

I was such a long time ago since i weighed 65 kg. Maybe it was since Knicks reach the NBA finals around half a decade ago la..Who would wonder last 6 months a guy weighing over 75 kg would start getting slimmer and break the 65 kg barrier by the end of the 5th month of his weight-loss program.

A bit on Jester Joke's history..5 of his last years of his present life were a constant incremental of weight from 50 kg to 77 kg...but somehow...5 of his last months of his present life were slimming down from 77 kg to 65 kg.

Here's a brief report on Jester Joke's diet if you want to try:
  • Avoid fried stuffs

  • Stop on soft drinks

  • Consume not over 2000 calories a day

  • Take precautions on your sugar intake

  • Burn fat by exercising your whole body for at least 3 days a week

  • Although these conditions may be strick, don't forget to reward yourself with around 1 meal of happy, non-diet course each week. You might like go to a Japanese buffet restaurant and hit in all the tempuras, soft drinks, ice-creams, and intake lots of excess calories. I believe pushing your body too much will make you tired and out of shape, so get a meal to brighten your appetite up...with most probably 2 the most.

Celebrating my success breaking the 65kg-barrier, I had Luigi's IIth Streetbasketball tournament at my home in the end of last month. There's gonna be another Luigi's IIIth Streetbasketball tournament at the end of next month so if you interest comment in la.

To conclude my fight with obesity this month, February 2005, I reduced from 66 kg to 63.7 kg...Another 2.3kg reduction!!
